Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

SnapToCalendar is provided by SERN ("SERN," "we," "us," or "our"). If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the SnapToCalendar mobile application for iOS or Android (the "Service").

2. Information We Process

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide the features you request: extracting possible calendar events, showing them for your review, saving confirmed events to your device calendar, providing History, troubleshooting failures, maintaining security, and improving the reliability of the Service.

We do not use submitted source content for advertising or to build advertising profiles.

SnapToCalendar is an AI-assisted tool. The extracted results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please review every event before saving it to your calendar.

4. AI Processing and Service Providers

When you request extraction, the source content you submit is sent through our Supabase backend to OpenAI for AI extraction or voice transcription. This transfer is necessary to provide the feature you requested. Do not submit content that you are not authorized to share or that you do not want processed by these providers.

We use Supabase for guest authentication, backend functions, and the database used for History. We use Apple or Google operating-system services for permissions and native calendar access. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may add or change service providers as the Service evolves. If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notice or choice.

5. Permissions and Device Access

SnapToCalendar may request access to your calendar, photos, camera, and microphone. These permissions are optional, but the related feature will not work without them. We request access when needed and do not use the camera or microphone for continuous background monitoring.
